I am a business analytics student in San Antonio working across civic technology, healthcare data and student leadership. I have shipped an AI platform now used by VIA Metropolitan Transit route planners, analyzed clinical scheduling data for University Health, and I currently serve as President of the Business Student Council at UTSA.

I am seeking a Summer 2027 internship in real estate, operations, strategy, product and project management, or analytics.

Better Futures Institute — Civic Tech Scholar

  • Selected to continue past the summer cohort, building civic technology tools for VIA Metropolitan Transit and other stakeholders using PostgreSQL, React, Python and JavaScript.
  • Designed and delivered the initial iteration of the Route Planner AI Platform, now used by VIA route planners, cutting data retrieval from 4 hours to 5 minutes and eliminating continuous manual pulls.
  • Continuing to extend the platform, especially forecasting.
  • Collaborated with 20 scholars to research, write and publish the 2026 Workforce of the Future report, informing regional workforce strategy.

University Health — Health Information Systems Intern

  • Partnered with the UH Epic Cogito team to analyze scheduling and utilization across the University Health system.
  • Analyzed 16,000+ row clinical datasets in Microsoft Excel, identifying 1 major and 2 minor scheduling deficiencies.
  • Built visual summaries of findings and presented them to UH Epic Cogito leadership.

What I did

  • Built the data layer in PostgreSQL and the interface in React, with Python and JavaScript services behind it.
  • Eliminated the need for continuous manual pulls by route planning staff.
  • Currently extending the feature set, with forecasting as the focus.

A dashboard built on a large structured dataset to surface real estate market insights in the Austin area.

What I did

  • Used a large structured dataset to show real estate market insights in the Austin area.
  • Cleaned data collected over a 16 year period, resulting in an accurate analytical model.
  • Presented the finished dashboard to multiple stakeholders, including employees at JLL Real Estate.
